Albemarle County is slowly going through the Comprehensive Plan, and this publication is slowly writing up each work session.
There’s an online petition with over 470 signatures asking the Planning Commission to reject the rezoning for Oak Bluff

The AC44 process is now in its third phase as the actual language of the update is slowly revealed to the Planning Commission, the Board of Supervisors, and the public.
The work session will feature a discussion of land use categories which tell landowners what the county would like to see happen on each parcel of land.
Albemarle Supervisors have already determined that growth area expansion won’t happen with the current Comprehensive Plan cycle, but at least one Planning Commissioner said more land is needed for new homes and jobs.
