Albemarle ARB to review Holly Hills subdivision, three other projects

The additional homes would be built in the town center, an area that will also have less commercial space than originally anticipated.
The property owners want to be able to build something less intense than called for in the Rio Road form based zoning code.
Carter Machinery can rent equipment from the site, but the various pieces cannot be displayed outside without the special user permit.
The Board of Supervisors will have their own public hearing on this rezoning and special use permit request at an upcoming hearing.
The two public hearings offer a chance for members of the community to weigh in on specific applications.
This is one of two opportunities to make a public comment on one of the biggest economic development projects ever to be undertaken in Albemarle County
