A long range planning committee moved the proposed high school to the top of a capital list after years in which a “center” model has been prevalent
There is additional funding for sidewalks in the five-year plan, reflecting actual projects that will be ready to go to construction when money is available.
One of the next steps will be a feasibility study into the property, building off a previous one conducted by UVA that was published this summer
The plan had been to use the land to open a childcare facility
Charlottesville’s speed cameras are placed at six locations including two portions of Cherry Avenue
Funds from the trust have been used most recently for $500 scholarships for graduating high school seniors
